“ Corner deli with a lot of sandwich options that are pre-made. They will make what you want made to order as well. Their potato and egg salads looked great and I had to get a small container. ”
“ We came across this deli by chance, and it turned out to be a really great find! We needed 13 sandwiches to go, and they whipped-up sandwich'boxes' (with chips and pickle!) in no time... They offered lots of choices, everything looked good, and the value and convenience were great. (We requested the same order for the next day at the same time.) The staff were very friendly and efficient. The deli was filled with so many items, but was clean and organized. A great little shop for the neighborhood. I'd definitely recommend checking it out. ”
“ Stopped to pick up dinner. These guys are great. Ordered the Reuben and the basic salad. It's all carry out. While waiting for the sandwich, shopped the small market for a beer and a snack. Had lots of options for both including fresh fruit. Reuben was exceptional served with 1/2 pickle and bag of chips. Salad is big (there is a large size too), and the vegetables (lots of them) were fresh. Nice looking place on the corner. Will patronize them again. ”
“ This is totally random review - it was really late at night and I was walking aimlessly downtown when I got a craving for cheesesteak. Nothing was open for blocks until I came across this random bodega (Lincoln Deli). It looks like any other corner deli - the usual chips, drinks, cookies, cold cuts... But I was hungry, so I said "give me your best cheesesteak..." and so the guy behind the counter, without exchanging a word or acknowledgement, started at it. The sliced beef, the american cheese, the grilled onions, the generously buttered grilled sandwich roll. Throw in a little lettuce at the end. OMG. It was freaking delicious - crispy grilled bread against the creamy cheese and sweet grilled onions and it was less than $10. In fact it was so big that I saved the other half for a late morning lunch. ”
“ You know thise times where you suggest a good, close, known food entity now, but your wife says no and puts you on a bus to NYC to get coffee and breakfast later? With no idea where food and coffee will come from? Whether it will be good? Whether we will trudge past establishments, nit picking until someone passes out in the bike lane? Me too. In the midst of such a dire situation, we stumbled across this awesome little deli on 9th, a few blocks from the Port Authority, where our breakfastly- challenged family of 5 landed after mom denied us breakfast in Weeshawken and made us ride the sketch bus to the city. By the time we found this deli, I was already suffering from a case of the hangrys, and my wife, trying to save face and prove that delayed breakfast and coffee was actually a good idea- which it never is- dove into the Lincoln Deli as if it were the only option in the world, and proclaimed how fantadtic it would be. Thus, she had a lot riding on her shoulders. $33.20 and two bags of food later, we sat in a park a few blocks down and dug in. Let's just say that my wife's pick was able to redeem even my most caffeine-deprived hatred. Two of the boys had the breakfast sandwiches, complete with bacon and real egg (not McEggs), the wife and I had omelette platters with hash browns and toast, and #3 son had pancakes with blueberries and chocolate chips. Amounts were plentiful, and food was fantastic. Coffee was black and Columbian. As in any case, starvation makes the meal taste better, but today's stop in Lincoln Deli was a well-earned victory for my wife. Kudos to Lincoln Deli for saving her face! ”
